WATCH: Nutanix Looks Back On 10 Years In Action And Teases What’s Ahead

Nutanix executives discuss up’s and down’s over the last 10 years in business and shed light on what’s to come at .NEXT 2019.

Nutanix will celebrate 10 years in business this September. The hyper-converged player now has more than 10,000 customers under its belt with plans to continue that success as it moves into its next venture: the cloud.

At Nutanix’s .NEXT conference in Anaheim, CRNtv asked executives to weigh in on the 10-year mark. Here’s what they said:

“I think the last 10 years, we have failed along the way with doing some products and we quickly recovered. I think that’s the genesis of entrepreneurship actually. You know really figuring out staying power. What does it mean to figure out the next 10 years? What does it mean to make cloud procure software? What does it mean to take this software and give it to partners where partners become cloud providers?” said co-founder and CEO Dheeraj Pandey.

Recently, Nutanix has added more services to its business. Frame Founder Nikola Bozinovic discussed the impact the two companies are bringing to the market following Nutanix’s acquisition of Frame.

“When I started Frame six years ago it was built as a cloud service with no on-prem component. So, everything was out there in the cloud and everything was really service-based and subscription-based. Really, that’s what got us and Nutanix together. Nutanix really believes moving from software to services and subscription. That’s what the last eight months have been about: figuring how Frame and Nutanix make bigger and better things together.”

Executives add that there’s still more to come:

“We continue to grow. Our sights aren’t just set on hyper-converged but in multi-cloud and beyond. So, we’re excited and we believe there’s an immense amount of opportunity for our partners in this whole industry. So, stay with us,” Chris Kozup, senior vice president of global marketing at Nutanix.
