Ingram Micro has signed distribution deals with cloud solutions providers AvePoint and Geo as the distributor upgrades its cloud marketplace.
US-based AvePoint is a Microsoft global ISV partner specialising in governance, compliance, and management software for Office 365.
The company recently hired Andre Carpenter out of Oracle as its first ANZ channel chief, three years after opening its first Australian office in Sydney.

Geo provides cloud-based business productivity tools and applications for businesses of all sizes mobile and distributed workforces, and is based on Amazon Web Services.
Geo chief executive Kylie O’Reilly said the company is delighted to have such a high-calibre channel partner and Ingram Micro’s reach will significantly increase Geo’s opportunity to expand in the coming year.

Ahead of the company’s 2018 Cloud Summit, Ingram Micro ANZ director of cloud services Lee Welch said the distributor has made the marketplace easier to access and navigate, while expanding its range of vendors.
