Rankings

1. Pennington (9-0; LW-1) >> Not only are the Red Hawks carving up the opposition to the tune of 5.8 goals per game, but they have only conceded three all season and have seven straight cleansheets.

2. Steinert (10-0; LW-2) >> Spartans survived a trip to Lawrence thanks to Adriana Ryder’s OT header to give them a pair of 1-0 wins this week and keep them in line for the No. 2 seed in the MCT.

3. Allentown (9-1; LW-3) >> Bella Conti (9 goals, 7 assists) leads the CVC in points after four weeks. Kim Maurer’s tactics have tightened up a leaky defense from a year ago as the Redbirds have conceded just twice all season.

4. Princeton High (7-2-1; LW-NR) >> After dropping out of the rankings for a week, Dave Kosa’s side is back following a pair of victories. Holly Howes is tied for second in the CVC with nine goals.

5. Robbinsville (7-3; LW-NR) >> Another team that jumps into the rankings for the first time after huge week in which it got victories over Lawrence and Notre Dame. Caitlyn Curran’s side is trending in the right direction as tournament seeding looms.

6. Hightstown (7-3; LW-6) >> Rams avoided a bad loss by holding on against Ewing, and the victories over Hopewell Valley, Lawrence and Notre Dame continue to hold weight and keep Sam Biondi’s side on the right side of the bubble.

7. Princeton Day (5-3; LW-4) >> Panthers slid back toward the bubble after falling, 1-0, to Lawrenceville on Saturday. Junior Adriana Salzano (3 goals, 4 assists) has developed into a very good two-way midfielder in a slightly different role than she had in her first two seasons.
