Enterprise cloud backup vendor HYCU has appointed Tech Data as its ANZ distributor for its HYCU Data Protection for Nutanix.
HYCU develops backup, recovery and monitoring software for enterprise clouds like Nutanix and Google Cloud. The partnership focuses on the Nutanix-specific solution.
“Since the introduction of HYCU for Nutanix, we have seen tremendous interest and growth around the globe, and in particular throughout ANZ,” HYCU chief executive Simon Taylor said.
“To cultivate that growth and interest, our key strategic partner relationships become even more important as we look to support our growing Nutanix customer base.
“We are excited to team with Tech Data and its reseller partners to accelerate HYCU’s presence across ANZ.”
Tech Data ANZ general manager Wendy O’Keeffe said data security is “front of mind for almost 80 percent of business leaders and boards”, citing a recent Security and Risk survey from Gartner.
