Cintron World's Soccer Mom of May | Tracey Urion

My name is Tracey, I have been married to my husband for almost 13 years and share our two boys – Robert & Jacob, as well as my stepson Anthony, and rounding out our family are our two dogs Spike & Taylor (GSD & GSD-mix).  I am a fulltime Project Manager, and work for Quality Service Plus, Inc (QSP) that specializes in interior wayfinding signs and graphics.  I love what I do, and who I do it with – but the most important part of my life is not my career, but my family.  Every morning I take our dogs for a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the peacefulness of quiet streets before the chaos of life jumps in.  Robbie is currently in 6th grade & Jake is in 1st.  They both participate in the PPP youth program, along with playing soccer for their town, and Robbie also playing for a club team, Fulboltech.  It’s very rare that between the boys’ school & soccer schedules that we have a full night at home but we enjoy every minute that we can get.

Soccer for me is bigger than the game itself.  I have witnessed my youngest come out of his shell on the soccer field.  He could be the shyest person in the room, but the loudest on the field.  Soccer has pushed my oldest to take control and leadership in goal.  Soccer teaches you how to accept loss and to win humbly.  With the game, you get to work with a diverse group of people, from all cultures and learn how to work together for a common goal.  All of these things are taught on the field, but have a huge impact off the field.

Our family are season ticket holders and we have the best time together, so much that we had to make a family vacation out of the MLS Cup in 2022.  Soccer has really turned our family into a team.
