The MPG (Music Producers Guild) have announced the shortlist for this year’s MPG Awards, which will be taking place on 25 April 2025 at The Troxy, London, UK. Along with the nominees for each of the award’s categories, the organisation have also revealed that radio DJ and TV Presenter Lauren Laverne will be receiving the MPG Special Recognition Award.

MPG Special Recognition Award
Along with the award shortlist, the MPG have also revealed that radio DJ and TV presenter Lauren Laverne will be receiving the MPG Special Recognition Award. The announcement comes as Lauren returns to BBC Radio 6 Music with a new show, following her return to Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs at the end of last year.Radio DJ and TV Presenter Lauren Laverne will be receiving the MPG Special Recognition Award.
