Coronation Street's Colson Smith continues to display his incredible weight loss as he gives fans a glimpse of his intense training regime

He stunned fans last month when he unveiled his slimmer figure on Instagram, with followers telling him he was 'giving Adele a run for her money'.

And Colson Smith continued to showcase his epic weight loss as he gave fans a glimpse of his workout regime on Instagram stories on Saturday.

The actor, 21, who plays Craig Tinker in the ITV soap, looked amazing as he worked up a sweat lifting weights outside his garage.

Dressed in a black T-shirt, matching shorts and white trainers, Coulson put himself through his paces as he did a circuit consisting of dumbbells, kettle bells and a medicine ball.

The star appeared in great shape as he pumped his arms and worked his way through each of the exercises in the sped-up video.

Colson used an animation of a potato working out as he captioned the clip: 'better weather.'

Meanwhile, Colson recently spoke about how his staggering weight loss will likely cause continuity issues on Coronation Street during filming.

The soap star joked he will have to wear a fat suit after claiming to have lost 10 stone during lockdown.

ITV bosses pulled the plug on production on March 23, but filming resumed earlier this month after Emmerdale forged the path for soaps to start a phased return.

Colson told The Sun: 'We are in direct continuity, but I've almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I'm not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.

'I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.

'So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now.'

In April, Colson revealed he suggested his weight-loss storyline to the show's bosses.

The star's character Craig had been trying to trim down on the ITV soap, and Colson has admitted the fitness plot was his brainchild and he has been keeping it going during the coronavirus lockdown.

He said on Good Morning Britain: 'When you go up and suggest a storyline where your character goes on a bit of a transformation the one thing in the back of my head is, "Oh, I've got to do that as well".

'While we're not seeing the Street at the moment, I've kept Craig Tinker's fitness journey going behind closed doors.

'So when we're back we'll be ready to see what Craig has been up to.'

Colson previously revealed he lost one and a half stone in December after he got food poisoning while holidaying in Thailand.

Speaking on his podcast Sofa Cinema Club - which he hosts with co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price, Colson said: 'I was in Ko Lanta.

'I was sat on the beach and the waiter came over and was like, "What would you like?" And I said, "I'll have the prawns to start please."

'I had avoided seafood [on Ben's advice] but I was sat on the beach and I was like, "How can you not have seafood on the beach?"

'Well, anyway. I'm not doing that again. I've lost about a stone and a half.'

Colson said he was only able to eat to a banana and three slices of toast in the week after eating the dodgy prawns.

Since then, the star has embarked on a fitness regime and has littered his Instagram with pictures of him in sports gear, and has of course adopted a much healthier eating plan than just eating toast.
